Cory and I first met in January 2014. He asked me to make a snow angel with him, and I have been hooked on him ever since! Over the years, we have talked often about settling onto rural land where we could live out all of our homesteading dreams. A place where we could raise animals, have an apiary to keep honeybees, grow a large bountiful garden and live sustainably. In June 2017, we moved into our first home and this little hobby farm is what inspired us to create ‘Hay Creek Farm’.

We live on an original 1800’s Swedish homestead. We currently have 4 honeybee hives, a flock of chickens, geese and ducks. We sell our raw honey, eggs and pure 100% maple syrup that we collect and process.

Rachel also runs a small hand-knit business.
